❅ I won't change again (probably)
This is my third OFFICIAL My Opera account (I have more two accounts but they're just used for testing). The reason for me to change my account again, was… I want this username.
Only that?
Yes, only this… I can't help. I really love this username.
Everything began from my email account changing. That was also my third official email account. In January, the Hymmnos albums "Ar Tonelico III" were released. I was immediately infatuated with KOKIA's "EXEC_COSMOFLIPS/.". That song was really an epic!
A few days ago, for some propose, I wanted to email someone with an address that no one knows. Thus, I'd got to make a new one. I firstly wanted to use my computer's name, which is "kosmoton". However, … that username was unavailable!!!??? How come? I've never thought that name was not unique. Then, I had to think up for a new name.
What should I use?
KOKIA… use one title of her songs would be nice. But what? Suddenly, I remembered "cyouwa", which means "harmony", but my thought was switched quickly to another name, which was very nice too, that was, "cosmoflips".
Very nice, no?
But, again, that was not available!!!??? Someone has registered that name earlier!! OMG!!! I was a bit frustrated, that name was so nice, but I can't use it… Well, why not try to modify the name? To change the "c" to "k" would be a good idea. In German, lots of words have a "k" instead of a "c"! And, Lucky! The "k" one is alive!! So, my new email address was born like this.
But the story was just begun. Since I love this song so much, as well as its title, for days I can't stop thinking about the nice name, and the idea to pervade every online nook I like with this username was floating up little by little. Yet that was just an idea, I did nothing really with the new username but changing my youtube account since the former one was tied up with my old email address and thus I couldn't change the logging email account.
At that time, I was playing around a Japanese Internet service: Ninja Tools. They have a series of nice service including homepage, blog, counter, analyzer, etc. Different from other service, they supply a bunch of domain names, and I did find some domain names I very like. However, I've never wanted to make a personal homepage, because 1) I'm lazy, 2) I don't know what to put into the homepage, and 3) I have an almost-homepage-like blog.
Then, I tried their blog service. Still, there're many domain names to be chosen. I got one: noir.go-th.net. Fits me, no? Such a nice name! It also supports javascript, which is not supported by my current blog host. I also dug up lots of nice blog templates (well, Japanese blog templates are most very nice and cute). The domain name, the all-supporting feature, and the template…
I was almost going to switching using that blog. But… I didn't want to leave MYO. After 3 days of struggling on whether or not to change, I decided to change finally.
I looked at my MYO blog again. Everything was so nice. What I especially love are the "archive" page, the BBCode-like blogging box, the horizontal menu, and the album service.
No, no. I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE. THAT'S TRUE!!!
But… THAT domain name is so nice…………
Dilemma.
I thought I should compare the two.
MyOpera: I started to use since 2006, custom CSS is supported, the BBCode-like editing way can avoid html messing, the album, the archive page, the about page, the menu bar, etc. But, the domain name is a bit long, and it has no javascript and complicated html code supporting.
Ninja Tools: I fell in love with it soon after I tried it, so it's really nice, CSS is supported too, it supports all html codes, it has nice domain names, but I don't like the functional html editor for posting, and it has no archive page, no about page, no sticky post (at least I didn't find out), no horizontal menu bar.

In all, functionally, I love MYO; of appearance, I prefer Ninja Tools.
Hmmmmmm…………
Function is the more important!
I didn't dislike my current Opera username, that's unique to me. But it's not as cool as the ninja domain. To convince myself not leaving MYO (it was true that I was even going to write a farewell post), I must have a cooler username.
You know the end. You've known the story about my new email address.
Within two days, I moved all my posts from both of my MYO accounts into the new one. Then, I added all my art works, deviantART logs, youtube cover logs, and also fixed some broken links.
That was hard, but I finished.
I was very, very satisfied.
I'm still staying on MYO, I really love it. I tried to change (I also planned to sing the song "time to say goodbye" by KOKIA for it), but finally, I'm here, with all my stuff in my new comfortable nest. From now on, not only I'm blogging into a new, cool address, I need not to add links to my other online places.
Everything has been linked together.
I don't want to move again, no matter how nice that service is. I'll just stay here, enjoy my simple, neat, and adorable blog service.
Or can you think up an even cooler username?

✽ waiting for yorlga, I think I love it
When I just read about that the release of album "yorlga" would be postponed from the official yorlga blog, I was pretty astonished. However, I realized that was not true; after the long ellipsis, it was clear that the posting date, in which the kinda scary news was just an April Fool. orz…
If that were true, it's not funny. I've been waiting for reading more information about that album since a few weeks ago. I probably buy this album… well, 75% currently.
Noriko Mitose and Yoshitaka Hirota, the two can really make good music! I was attracted by Noriko's transparent voice at the very moment when I first heard her singing. About, Yoshitaka Hirota, I didn't know very much but I think he is a high skilled composer. One of the two's works "Kataha no Kotori" stood out from all other songs in a collaboration album "message." Then, still the two's work, "XaaaCi," was especially noticeable among the whole album "Ar Tonelico III side red."
I listen to some doujin music, but I don’t like most of them – in most times, doujin music sounds mediocre and even badly crazy. Even though in case of Noriko, I like her voice, but without a good melody, I can't say I like all her songs. Luckily here came Yoshitaka. Having the same interests, the two always have fun on making music, good music.
"Yorlga," their next release, will be out on May 19, 2010. So far, there are two interviews about this project, and the official homepage has also a blog. I'm keeping tracking every piece of information about it; I got excited, I fell in love with this project even before any trail listening available!
I think, the real moment to really love the project would be the time when I saw the profile page of its homepage. The light was a bit gloom, the color tone was nostalgic, the background and the clothing were 19-century-ish… my thought was immediately pulled into the time of Sherlock Holmes. Nice ambience!!!

Later, the more I read their information, the more I love this project. Combining eastern and western styles, in an imagined yet reality-based world, around the theme of a mystical ore "yorlga," with Noriko's crystal clear voice and Yoshitaka's attractive noisy-in-harmony composing, I'm looking forward it.
They've mentioned about the tracks. Before the final decision of track titles, they called them with the core of each song – "yorlga", "sekai (world)", "hana chiru ya (a night when flowers fall)", "oiran (courtesan)", "yume kai (buying dreams)"… – they all have a nice "core"! They also decided to cover the "famous" song: "Soshuu Yakyoku (Soshuu Nocturne)". Waah, everyone covers it!
And I'll probably pre-order it sometime♪♪~

❋ Orthodox Style?
I read in KOKIA's blog, about a delicious dish she just tried: Tamago kake gohan (卵かけご飯 / egg sauce over rice). She also mentioned that is an orthodox style of Japanese food.
Really?
So, I wanted to try it for today's supper.
I didn't read the article from wikipedia. I also didn't dare to eat raw eggs. However, it's true that I like half-cooked eggs. I boiled water, and put an egg for about 5 minutes. Then, I broke the egg, and decanted the semi-liquid egg onto a box of pre-heat rice.
Then, all done~

After adding some soy sauce, with some miso soup, that was really a delicately good table d'hôte!

❆ Pi Day?!
I noticed today's Google main page gave me a new logo. I saw it in my iGoogle homepage, so that logo was kind of smaller. At the first glimpse, it gave me the feeling of a piece of draft paper with some circles on. By curiosity, I clicked the image and it linked me to a search theme of "Pi Day."

↑ Google's Pi-Day logo.

↑ the Pi-Day's google logo appearing in my iGoogle page; click to enlarge.
Interesting. Anyways, the first thing on the wikipedia page that attracted me was the huge pie with a huge "π" written on it. Pi almost equals 3.14, thus the Pi-Day date is decided to be March 14. Nice idea.
Okay, since I was having my belated breakfast, I sliced the last bun into halves, spread a thin layer of raspberry jam onto one side, and wrote the Greek letter "π" with mayonnaise. I didn't have a real pie as my breakfast, but the bun made pie didn't look bad, did it?

♧ An Awful Trick of Numbers
As an out-class practice, I was working on a restriction map problem since the last night. The problem itself was basically simple, yet I spent rather a long time to do it.
When you digest the genome with enzyme A, and you get 2 fragments; you digest the genome with enzyme B, and you get 3 fragments. Then, you digest the genome with both A and B, and you get 4 fragments. Now you need to analyse the lengths of the fragments. If you see the total length of two fragments from A+B is exactly the same to one fragment from A, you may confirm one of enzyme B cutting sites by measuring the length from the end of the genome/enzyme A cutting site to this enzyme B cutting site.
There were three enzymes used in the problem. I made a draft of two of them, but when I tried to confirm the cutting sites of the last enzyme, I couldn't get all fragment lengths exactly match in other conditions (the combinations of using enzymes, I mean).
But my idea was absolutely correct. I was pretty sure about it. About the instructor of the class, I know he is often in the situation of "I-lost-my-thought." Thus I came to doubt the position of fragment bands in the illustration, which was drawn by the instructor, I guess. Some bands, although they look like at different horizontal levels, is it possible that they actually have the same size? Thinking about it, I tried some changes on the numbers of the sizes of each band. Amazingly, after several times of changing, I got all lengths matched.
I spent much of time due to the stupid badly drawn illustration sure enough. orz…

♡ light weekend time
I'm having my light weekend in the end of February.
Began from the last November or December, I finally got my Graduated Driver License Level 7 yesterday afternoon. Actually, I didn't spend more than a week to read the handbook; I was just lazy to read; I wanna know why though… the result wasn't bad. You are only allowed to make five mistakes. Mine was three. Yet I was a bit worry when I had already got two wrong answers within the first ten questions. Anyways, I got it~
I've been watching the ultra-long-anime "Detective Conan" for a few weeks. – Because of it, I haven't got time to watch "Top Gear" and "Discovery Channel." – I was amazed because of that this anime has been continued for 13 years, yet I still like and want to watch it. I was also a bit depressed by that they changed the cast voice of a main character, Mouri Kogoro. I only watch one episode with Mouri's new voice, so I can't tell if the new voice performs a good or not Mouri. But, I just like the form voice, which stayed for 13 years with us…
I updated a Windows 7 Japanese package. Now my display language is Japanese. The font it so cute, I can't continue without mentioning it.
I made a plurk account on February 7 or around, and stopped using it by yesterday morning. Basically, plurk is like twitter, but it makes every single update a conversation-ish mini-post, and thus, the overall view of your plurk profile seems very organised. I like it very much. But, I can't help the truth that I'm a google fan (I don’t like chrome that much though ^^; ), so when google announced their new social communication product: google buzz, I gave up plurking. I don’t like twitter, as well as facebook (the fact is that I've got my facebook for three times, and finally they all ended up with I quitting using facebook; I am not a FB-fan apparently). Although google buzz is like plurk – to make each single post conversation-ish, there is an important difference between them: on plurk, if you don’t update frequently, your karma will drop… it's annoying sometimes. Who can keep active updating if they really don’t want? In one word, google buzz for the win! (I wish Opera Community may support embedding g-buzz into our sidebar like twitter…)
I'm addicted to Kenji Kawai's music suddenly. I like his music before but never been like that mad as now. I also got his concert video in 2007. I love the ballad "Kugutsuuta – Kagerohi wa Yomi ni Matamuto" very much. Especially the concert version. The drum is EPIC!!!

At last, I suddenly liked the online mini-game "Ninja Ropes Extreme," and played it till midnight yesterday. I found it via opera widgets. You may also play it online directly. The rule is simple, but it's not easy to play. My highest record is around 96YD, but when I checked the top 5 listed in their site, someone has got around 1000… that's … kind of shock. How did they make it? I wonder. XD
In the end of February, I finally got a light weekend to enjoy. Not bad. Try to keep this light mood on in future too~

❈ Ar Tonelico III Hymmnos: review part.2 – yet still nice
Yesterday I talked about A.T. 3 Hymmnos concert red side, and I was a bit disappointed in it, because it’s not that A.T.-ish. Today, I’m going to talk more (?) on another album: the blue side. However, these reviews are only my totally personal feelings. I don’t expect you guys accept them. I just want to say what I felt at my first a few times of listening. I’m also planning to write something (maybe not), after I read the booklet and get more ideas from the game context.
[SAKIYA=RUMEI side:]
1. GUST – Legend of Ar tonelico III
Still, this is an introduction, with more legend-telling-like ambience.

2. Akiko Shikata/志方あきこ – utau oka/謳う丘~Harmonics TILIA~
Like the previous works, the famous opening theme song “utau oka” starts the whole hymmnos concert. This song was in the preview, at the very beginning. But I didn’t recognize the part in the preview was a variant of “utau oka.” This time, this main melody changed a lot; only the rhythm and tempo were kept. But, I like it; it has a lot A.T.-elements!

3. Akiko Shikata/志方あきこ – EXEC_EP=NOVA/.
OMG! I loved this song since the preview has been out! It’s so cute (even the booklet has a special cute page for this song xD)! It seems to be a story about the daily fight between two cats, and cuteness is THE thing you can find out in it in most times. In the background, Akiko sang the “nyanya~” and made me couldn’t stop laughing!! I can do nothing when listen to this song!! This song would not be a standard A.T.-ish song, but, it IS bright and cute. It also reminds me the song “Pepen” from the A.T. orgel arrange album!

4. Akiko Shikata/志方あきこ – EXEC_FLIP_ARPHAGE/.
Nice song it is. This song also led the whole preview. Although I think it’s a bit like Akiko’s album “Harmonia,” what else can I say but this song is epically wonderful? Akiko used the multi-voice to render the song and gave it a feeling of an ancient scene: the story inside the song was begun. Then, the melody was opened widely, she sang more intensely. The story went on. Finally, the melody returned to be quiet. The song ended, yet the story would still continue. A story was told in a language no body knows.

5. Akiko Shikata/志方あきこ – toki no suna/トキノスナ
This is also a typical Akiko-ish song. However, when I firstly listened to it, I thought it would also have some eufonius-like elements. I couldn’t tell and still don’t know why. Both of the melody and the way of chorus and the arrangement were like what I can feel from some eufonius songs. Hmmm… who knows? xD

6. Yoko – EXEC_METEMPSYCHOSIS/.
Yoko Ueno, I only have ever heard a few of her songs, but she is a nice composer/singer. Her voice is clear and strong. I’m wondering if they took Yoko (and/or KOKIA) to replace the position of Yuuko Ishibashi… Anyway, this song is basically good. The Yoko’s multi-voice is nice too!

7. KOKIA – EXEC_REBIRTHIA=PROTOCOL/.
Ahhh, finally, here comes KOKIA. Although I would have repeated for several times, I still wanna say, the performance of KOKIA in A.T. was such a surprise!
This song was the ending song of the preview mix. The melody is very KOKIA-ish! I like it (especially the introduction)!! This song is very similar to KOKIA’s “hoshikuzu no vocalize/星屑のヴォカリーズ” from her balance albums. However, listen to this song, I don’t think I’m listening to A.T. Hymmnos concerts, and what I feel should be I’m just playing a KOKIA album. lol

8. KOKIA – EXEC_COSMOFLIPS/.
This song…………
KOKIA sings Hymmnos……
…………………
It’s way too epic to say more here. I loved it, and was looking forward the whole version right after I listened to it from the preview.
Too nice…
Too awesome…
Too epic…
……………
We’re listening to a divine song…. *_____*
Afterwards, I checked the booklet. KOKIA wrote the lyrics, composed the music; the arranger of it was Masumi Itou (also known as Hikaru Nanase)!!! MY GODDESS!!! Remember “KARMA”? Remember “Transparent”? This is her! KOKIA herself also mentioned in her blog that she likes Hikaru Nanase’s music. Yes, I agree that the two can make good music! Awful ladies……… m(_ _)m

9. KOKIA – 光の中に
It is another typical KOKIA song. Here, again, I get the feeling that I’m not listening to the A.T. Hymmnos concerts but a typical KOKIA album. lol Anyhow, a good song it is sure enough.

Yay, Akiko is the queen of Ar Tonelico Hymmnos! I like the melody and singing in the first part of the song. A medley of previous A.T. songs were presented here too, and it’s pretty nice too.

11. GUST – Planet Gene
The background rhythm was like the heartbeat. The melody was slow and calm. Only to read the title, what I can say could be “our story has ended, but the planet is going on, and there will be more and more stories to be told in future.”

Overall.
I was pretty satisfied by this album. I strongly recommend this one especially the KOKIA’s “divine song”. Akiko and KOKIA (I’m also so glad that KOKIA chose to use “KOKIA” but her real name “Akiko” lol) did a nice job. The Yoko song is very good as well. Also, again, again, and again, I will say: “KOKIA’s join is so nice”! Although I miss Yuuko Ishibashi’s performance, KOKIA’s presence balanced the absence of Yuuko. The only weak point of this this album could be that it is too bad that some songs have no translation from the Hymmnos in the booklet. >_<
