♤ Depressing Pleasure

Seems doujin artists are dominating my heart.

↑ from the last 30 days.
Anyway, I gotta love another single by a doujin artist -- at least I think she's from doujin circle.

Yanagi Nagi -- Ambivalentidea
Before I listened to the songs, I saw someone posted the lyrics first. OMG, I saw bermei.inazawa! -- which meant the songs HAVE TO be great.
The introducing piano in "Ambivalentidea" is excellent. The transparent notes, with strings accompanying, settled the trembling "gothic" ambience. In contrast, in "白くやわらかな花 (A white, soft flower)" the ambience is a bit brighter. Both songs are in typical inazawa style, elegant and basically darkish -- I like the unique halftones especially! Nagi's voice fits the melodies so well too. However, the third song "halo effect" isn't that excellent like the others, though it's not bad. Probably, it's because "halo effect" doesn't have those unique halftones and thus it's rather like a general jpop.
However, I didn't want to mention this single particularly in my blog, until today, a rainy day.

With breeze, it was a bit cold, but I love the fresh air in the rain; looking at the raindrops falling down, flowing along flowers and leaves, or gathering into puddles.
Isn't it superb to listen to the first two songs in such a rainy day? The rather depressing songs could give me pleasure.
--Nothing but fantastic.
